To determine the presence of red mites
Set of 5 test tubes including additional cartons. Using these test tubes is an easy way to determine whether or not there are red mites present and gives an indication of the severity. The tubes should be attached to the resting area. Red mites that are feeding on your animals during the night will look for hiding places in the morning. The carton in the tubes offer a good hiding place for the mites and can easily be removed to check if any are present. We recommend placing one or two test tubes at the resting spot of your aviary or chicken coop and one test tube per 5-10 bird cages.
